After a careful selection process the smart metering specialist smartOPTIMO has decided for the long-term distribu-tion of the energy management and visualization software of GreenPocket in its utility network. In the next years smartOPTIMO will equip its customers with the Smart Metering solution leading Germany far.

At this year’s E-world (7th – 9th February 2017) GreenPocket will be presenting the legally compliant, secure and high-performance smart meter visulaization for household customers, trade and industry. The low-cost basic version of fulfils all legal requirement of the German Measuring Point Operation Act (MsbG). It is continuously developed further in line with changing conditions. In contrast, the modularly expandable Premium version offers many added values for customer interaction and communication.

At E-world 2016 (16.-18.02.2016 in Essen) the energy sector is once again looking for innovations that promise growth. Smart Home is one of the topics that indicate great potential. However, there is still a lot of reluctance among energy suppliers as to whether and how they should approach this topic. Technical complexity, immature solutions, marketing problems and the question of how to get started dominate the discussion. The software specialist and smart home expert GreenPocket is showing at E-world what the future could look like.

Just in time for the upcoming rollout, GWAdriga’s new metering point operator for visualization solutions offer a transparent overview of their en-ergy consumption. The system was adapted for use as a metering point operator solution in close cooperation between GWAdriga and GreenPocket. The solution is suitable for customers of both basic and competitive metering point operators.

December last year the first smart meter gateway was certified by the BSI. Soon more are to follow. This means that the smart meter rollout is finally within reach. However, this is not only a complicated project with high loads for all participants but also offers the opportunity to efficiently digitize the customer interface and improve the customer experience. The software specialist GreenPocket knows how to use this opportunity.

Smart metering specialist GreenPocket has successfully closed its current round of financing. The Dortmunder Energie- und Wasserversorgung (energy and water supply Dortmund, DEW21) supports the agile startup in the development of customer-oriented added values for the energy management sector as shareholder and strategic partner. Current investors reconfirmed their commitment by additional financing.

Just in time for the IFA 2015, the platform independent Smart Home provider GreenPocket presents the newest features of its user-friendly Smart Home software. These include individual light management based on the OSRAM Lightify, a twilight function as well as the watt-based control of devices.

RheinEnergie is introducing a new all-in-one smart home system. With RheinEnergie-SmartHome, devices compatible with the QIVICON platform can be connected and easily controlled in households and businesses. The underlying software has been produced by Cologne-based smart home specialist GreenPocket.

Due to rising energy costs and regulatory stipulations, energy efficiency has become an important competitive factor for companies of all sizes. Therefore, the German software specialist GreenPocket has developed an innovative energy management tool that helps business customers reduce energy costs and improve energy efficiency significantly.

As developer partner of Deutsche Telekom, GreenPocket has already launched several smart home products for the Qivicon platform, amongst others for Vattenfall and the Italian Urmet Group. At this year’s Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA), GreenPocket will present a new version of its application. The new application is platform-independent and includes location- based services.

The software expert GreenPocket is currently working on a comprehensive smart home app for the latest Apple operating system iOS 8. The app is supposed to link different use cases in the fields of light, heat and security based on Apple’s standard home automation system HomeKit. A first version of the app will be presented this autumn at the IFA in Berlin.

The power company Vattenfall offers its customers a new smart home solution based on Deutsche Telekom’s QIVICON home automation platform. The software was developed by the smart home specialist GreenPocket.

Cologne-based software specialist GreenPocket will present its new energy management system at the European Utility Week, which takes place in Amsterdam from 15th to 17th October 2013.
