Dynamic tariffs in the energy management software for business customers: from passive energy usage to consumption and cost control

Dynamic electricity tariffs are by no means a new concept. Their goal is to better balance electricity supply and demand, and they enable users to actively manage their electricity costs by adjusting energy consumption to fluctuating market prices. As of now, dynamic tariffs are fully and transparently visualized not only in the GreenPocket EnergyCockpit for residential customers but also in our Energy Management Software for business customers, including all relevant price components and consumption-based cost calculations. Especially for companies, which often have high and fluctuating energy needs, dynamic tariffs open up significant optimization potential, for example through load shifting or the use of time windows with favorable prices.
